Forum Marketing Secrets Exposed!

Today we are going to talk about Forum marketing. Attracting people into your business is challenging. Finding those who are looking for what you have to offer is hit and miss. Forum marketing helps target people who are looking for what you have to offer. Forums are websites where people meet on line to talk about things that interest them. There are forums for about ever subject known to man, but best of all for us, there are lots of websites that do nothing but discuss network marketing and how to get leads. If you want to get a responsive audience, and you have a way for people to find leads well it does not get any better than a forum.

How do you find forums? Go to google and type in network marketing forum or mlm forum and lots will pop up. Here are just a few which you will find very good if you are into network marketing. These are really targeted:
  1. www.WarriorForum.com - Grand Daddy of Internet Marketing forums.  This is where many ALL STARS hang out constantly, and you will learn a TON from this place.
  2. www.RichDad.com - Robert Kiosaki’s forum, great active network marketing sections, lots of good people, constant new source of people from his books.
  3. www.BetterNetworker.com - Great place to meet other networkers, and get exposure for your copy of the system.
  4. www.Wahm.com - Great popular forum where lots of people hang out.
  5. www.conqueryourniche.com/forum/PowerOfOne - Great forum that also allows you to advertise for free, while being a part of the community.
So what do you do once you go to this site. First of all, listen and learn from what the other people on the site are saying. God gave us one mouth and two ears for a reason. Comment only when you have something of value to add to a conversation. DO NOT SPAM, in other words just say things to get your name out there. A lot of the sites will kick you off if they think you are spamming.  Take your time, provide value, ask questions, give advice and share your opinions.

At the bottom of your forum post, all forums give you the opportunity to create a “signature file.” Your signature file is going to be your ad – directing people back to your website or blog. Most forums don’t allow affiliate sites, so if you want to use this tactic, you will need a custom website or blog (I recommend you have a blog set up for this.)

People love free e-courses, free newsletters, or free video training and anything for free in general, so put something in your signature file offering a free book, training course or something they will respond to.

Remember to create an auto-responder series providing the information you promised in your signature file, so you will be able to track where the people who sign up came from.
Now get out there and market your elf on a Forum.
Until my next blog, here’s to your success!

Ezine Marketing Secrets Revealed

Marketing for Senior Citizens can be difficult if you do not have a focused plan than can target your primary market. Today let’s talk about a way to really zero in on the people you want to communicate with.

Ezine marketing is an excellent way to focus on a group! Ezines are newsletters which are targeted at a certain market. For example if you want to sell a dog collar, there are ezines that focus on dog owners, so you can really pinpoint your group!

Before you start using an ezine though, you should research it and make sure it the right area for you. The more targeted your content to the ezine group, the more response you will get.

There are two different ways to use an ezine, top ads and solo ads. Let’s explore both.

1.   A top ad, is a small 5-10 line ad that is placed at the top of an ezine article and needs to be really focused on something that the reader will click on. Get to the point quickly of what they are going to get by clicking on your link  and be sure to include the URL or your tracking URL in the ad.  Think about something that would make you click the link and visit your site when you are writing your ad.

2.   Solo ads are basically a pointed article or ad that people get, highlighting your ad and your ad only. Most solo ads need to be 60 lines or shorter, but some ezine owners will give you more leeway. Longer is not necessarily better. Keep your ad to less than one page and break up the paragraphs into short chunks so it is easy to read quickly. Include the link to your website a few times in the body of the ad and be sure to include your URL or tracking link in the ad a couple times and sign off with your name and the link.

There are a lot of ezine sites that are free, but you have to pay for your top ads and sometimes you may want to pay to join a really targeted site that is fixed on exactly what you are marketing. Like anything else though, be careful. You do get what you pay for. If an ezine has 3000 subscribers and wants $10 dollars for an ad, you may be able to get value.  On the other hand, if the ad is $50, it is probably not worth it.
Finally, make sure you track you ads very carefully to make sure you’re getting value and use an auto-responder. Set up a NEW tracking link for EACH different ezine or ad you test, so that you can see which ones perform best. Aweber and Getresponse are both excellent for tracking your ads if your are subscribed to them.If you are not click on the name and sign up today, you will not regret it.
I hope this will help with your marketing and I look forward to our next training.

THE SECRETS OF GOAL SETTING!

There are all kinds or goals: Long term goals, short term goals, intermediate goals, and ultimate goal.
Goals must be specific and have a date of completion to be effective. There may be several goals working at the same time. For example, you may want to make one million dollars, lose 50 pounds, run a marathon, shoot your age in golf and be salesman of the year in your company.
Goals need to be realistic. In other words, you would not set a goal to be heavyweight champion of the world next year if you weigh 100 pounds and have never boxed. Goals should also be morally right and fair to all parties involved in them.  If you are doing a give up goal (losing weight or quitting smoking) you should tell everyone who can help you reach your goal.  If it is a go up goal (becoming salesman of the year) you need to be careful about who you tell your goal to. The person you are telling it to may be thinking: you are not going to be salesman of the year, because I am.
Goals need to written down with a date of completion and a written statement of how the goal will be achieved. So let me share one of my goals with you and how I have it formulated. I have a goal to take my wife and my son and his family to Princeville Hawaii, in December 2011 to rest and relax and to play golf with my son and granddaughter. I plan on paying cash for this trip. Doing some educated guessing I figure it will cost around $12,000.  In my business that equates to helping one more person a week reach their goal. So let’s formulate a statement of our goal.  As I said, it has to be written down and signed to be effective.
So here we go:
I, Bill Hobstetter, will have in my possession $12,000 cash by Dec. 19th, 2011 in order to take my family to Hawaii. I will get the money by helping 1 more person a week with their internet marketing goals. I can see the money clearly and I can smell the ocean air as I hit my golf shot.  I will not quit until I reach my goal! Signed Bill Hobstetter
So there you have it. I will read my statement aloud in the morning when I arise, and at night before I go to bed.  I can visualize it during the day and see the golf course I will be playing. Being able to visualize your goal is crucial to your success.
I hope you have enjoy this goal setting blog and if YOU are that extra person I can help this week,
