Realistic Goals Made Easy!

Today we are going to talk about goals and how to break them down so they do not seems so monumental to reach.
First of all, there is some record keeping involved. You should have a journal or planner of some type to record what you are doing. In a prior article, I spoke about being realistic. This is where it is really important. If you have only made $100 working on line for two years, and everything is the same, then you would not have a goal of making $50,000 this year. It is just not practical.
There has to be a way to measure your progress, thus the journal. For example, if you make 10 calls today and send out 25 emails and do five ads, how many leads will that generate? Once you have determined that, how many actual prospects can you expect from those leads? Now that you have determined the leads, how many sales can you expect from those leads? It really is as easy as that, but you really need to keep good records. That is my biggest shortcoming so I have to work on it every day.
The best way to set up your goals is to have a certain day of the week to plan your coming week. I use Sunday night and I schedule what I am going to do the following week.
Here is an example of what my schedule might look like for Monday:
Monday: 6:00 AM-7:00 AM Rise, Shower Breakfast and Pray and Inspirational Reading
7:00 AM to 7:30 AM Read emails and reply
8:00 AM to 9:00 AM Post Ads (Craigslist, Backpage, 50 ads)
9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Go for a 2 mile walk
10:00 AM to 11:00 AM (Post Ads)
11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Reply in Forums (NetDivvy, etc.)
12:00 to 1:00 PM Lunch and reading
1:00 PM to 2:00 PM NetDivvy Webinar
2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Phone calls and Forum responses
3:00 PM to 4:00 PM Exercise with WII

There should also be a way to measure each day, what you have achieved. How many contacts, how many leads and how many sales, along with other goals such as how much you exercise, number of miles walked, how many bottles of water you drank. Remember you can work on more than one goal at a time. Mine are physical ( I really need to lose 50 lbs) and monetary. (Trip to Hawaii.)
So there you have breaking down your goals. I hope it helps and you can start setting realistic goals and reaching them with proper planning. Getting good training and having a training system like NetDivvy offers will definitely help you reach your goals sooner, so check it out at http://billhobstetter.com. Until the next article here is to your success!

The Secret to Personal Branding!

Blogging Strategies Revealed

People Don’t Join Businesses, They Join People. I can not say that strongly enough. . Becoming a leader in on-line marketing requires lots of personal branding. I have a mentor by the name of Vince Reed. I joined NetDivvy, my current marketing company, because I believe Vince is one of the most honest and caring people on the internet. I only want to associate with people like that. So what does that have to do with blogging you ask? Blogging is a perfect way to brand yourself to other. To let others know that you care about them and want to help them. It is a personal journal of what you think about a subject, product or life in general. You are personally branding yourself to people. Teaching others how to market, and your strategies; is all part of letting people know what makes you as a marketer tick. Blogging is the perfect way to do that.

So where do you blog. Here are a few sites to consider:
1. Blooger.com
2. Word Press.org
3. Squidoo.com
4. Hubpages.com
5. Omegi.com

They are all excellent sites and some like Omegi will actually set up your blog site for you for a fee.

Whichever one you choose, there are some rules you need to follow in your blogging.

• First and foremost is to be consistent. Try to write an article at least once a week. Twice a week would be better, but make sure you do it regularly.

• Only offer value. Have something worthwhile to say. You can tell people to do things, give training tips and your mindset on what ever business or profession you are in. Hi-light a company or a person and give an honest analyst of what they are doing.

• Stay positive, and do not blast other companies or people, even though they may need it. If you can’t say something good; don’t say anything at all.

• Use keywords to create backlinks to your blog and the search engines. I use a free program called OnlyWire which broadcasts my blog to all the social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook. This helps with back linking.

• Make sure you check your spelling and grammar so you don’t look uneducated. I am blessed to have a proof reading wife who keeps me straight.

Blogging is fun and can really help you with your personal branding so get started today I will read you on the internet! Until next time have a wonderful week!

Forum Marketing Secrets Exposed!

Today we are going to talk about Forum marketing. Attracting people into your business is challenging. Finding those who are looking for what you have to offer is hit and miss. Forum marketing helps target people who are looking for what you have to offer. Forums are websites where people meet on line to talk about things that interest them. There are forums for about ever subject known to man, but best of all for us, there are lots of websites that do nothing but discuss network marketing and how to get leads. If you want to get a responsive audience, and you have a way for people to find leads well it does not get any better than a forum.

How do you find forums? Go to google and type in network marketing forum or mlm forum and lots will pop up. Here are just a few which you will find very good if you are into network marketing. These are really targeted:
  1. www.WarriorForum.com - Grand Daddy of Internet Marketing forums.  This is where many ALL STARS hang out constantly, and you will learn a TON from this place.
  2. www.RichDad.com - Robert Kiosaki’s forum, great active network marketing sections, lots of good people, constant new source of people from his books.
  3. www.BetterNetworker.com - Great place to meet other networkers, and get exposure for your copy of the system.
  4. www.Wahm.com - Great popular forum where lots of people hang out.
  5. www.conqueryourniche.com/forum/PowerOfOne - Great forum that also allows you to advertise for free, while being a part of the community.
So what do you do once you go to this site. First of all, listen and learn from what the other people on the site are saying. God gave us one mouth and two ears for a reason. Comment only when you have something of value to add to a conversation. DO NOT SPAM, in other words just say things to get your name out there. A lot of the sites will kick you off if they think you are spamming.  Take your time, provide value, ask questions, give advice and share your opinions.

At the bottom of your forum post, all forums give you the opportunity to create a “signature file.” Your signature file is going to be your ad – directing people back to your website or blog. Most forums don’t allow affiliate sites, so if you want to use this tactic, you will need a custom website or blog (I recommend you have a blog set up for this.)

People love free e-courses, free newsletters, or free video training and anything for free in general, so put something in your signature file offering a free book, training course or something they will respond to.

Remember to create an auto-responder series providing the information you promised in your signature file, so you will be able to track where the people who sign up came from.
Now get out there and market your elf on a Forum.
Until my next blog, here’s to your success!

Ezine Marketing Secrets Revealed

Marketing for Senior Citizens can be difficult if you do not have a focused plan than can target your primary market. Today let’s talk about a way to really zero in on the people you want to communicate with.

Ezine marketing is an excellent way to focus on a group! Ezines are newsletters which are targeted at a certain market. For example if you want to sell a dog collar, there are ezines that focus on dog owners, so you can really pinpoint your group!

Before you start using an ezine though, you should research it and make sure it the right area for you. The more targeted your content to the ezine group, the more response you will get.

There are two different ways to use an ezine, top ads and solo ads. Let’s explore both.

1.   A top ad, is a small 5-10 line ad that is placed at the top of an ezine article and needs to be really focused on something that the reader will click on. Get to the point quickly of what they are going to get by clicking on your link  and be sure to include the URL or your tracking URL in the ad.  Think about something that would make you click the link and visit your site when you are writing your ad.

2.   Solo ads are basically a pointed article or ad that people get, highlighting your ad and your ad only. Most solo ads need to be 60 lines or shorter, but some ezine owners will give you more leeway. Longer is not necessarily better. Keep your ad to less than one page and break up the paragraphs into short chunks so it is easy to read quickly. Include the link to your website a few times in the body of the ad and be sure to include your URL or tracking link in the ad a couple times and sign off with your name and the link.

There are a lot of ezine sites that are free, but you have to pay for your top ads and sometimes you may want to pay to join a really targeted site that is fixed on exactly what you are marketing. Like anything else though, be careful. You do get what you pay for. If an ezine has 3000 subscribers and wants $10 dollars for an ad, you may be able to get value.  On the other hand, if the ad is $50, it is probably not worth it.
Finally, make sure you track you ads very carefully to make sure you’re getting value and use an auto-responder. Set up a NEW tracking link for EACH different ezine or ad you test, so that you can see which ones perform best. Aweber and Getresponse are both excellent for tracking your ads if your are subscribed to them.If you are not click on the name and sign up today, you will not regret it.
I hope this will help with your marketing and I look forward to our next training.

THE SECRETS OF GOAL SETTING!

There are all kinds or goals: Long term goals, short term goals, intermediate goals, and ultimate goal.
Goals must be specific and have a date of completion to be effective. There may be several goals working at the same time. For example, you may want to make one million dollars, lose 50 pounds, run a marathon, shoot your age in golf and be salesman of the year in your company.
Goals need to be realistic. In other words, you would not set a goal to be heavyweight champion of the world next year if you weigh 100 pounds and have never boxed. Goals should also be morally right and fair to all parties involved in them.  If you are doing a give up goal (losing weight or quitting smoking) you should tell everyone who can help you reach your goal.  If it is a go up goal (becoming salesman of the year) you need to be careful about who you tell your goal to. The person you are telling it to may be thinking: you are not going to be salesman of the year, because I am.
Goals need to written down with a date of completion and a written statement of how the goal will be achieved. So let me share one of my goals with you and how I have it formulated. I have a goal to take my wife and my son and his family to Princeville Hawaii, in December 2011 to rest and relax and to play golf with my son and granddaughter. I plan on paying cash for this trip. Doing some educated guessing I figure it will cost around $12,000.  In my business that equates to helping one more person a week reach their goal. So let’s formulate a statement of our goal.  As I said, it has to be written down and signed to be effective.
So here we go:
I, Bill Hobstetter, will have in my possession $12,000 cash by Dec. 19th, 2011 in order to take my family to Hawaii. I will get the money by helping 1 more person a week with their internet marketing goals. I can see the money clearly and I can smell the ocean air as I hit my golf shot.  I will not quit until I reach my goal! Signed Bill Hobstetter
So there you have it. I will read my statement aloud in the morning when I arise, and at night before I go to bed.  I can visualize it during the day and see the golf course I will be playing. Being able to visualize your goal is crucial to your success.
I hope you have enjoy this goal setting blog and if YOU are that extra person I can help this week,

Cell Phone Marketing Secrets Revealed!

Hey, to all my senior citizens or anyone else who has started to market on-line. This is a special blog, because I just heard  about the most amazing product for you to be able to earn a considerable amount of money with.

I guess about the only thing as popular as the internet is Cell Phones and what if you could tap into that market. I am  sure you realize that most people have their phone with them 24/7 and what if you could send them an ad for a product to buy that would make you  a commission of anywhere from $22-$55 dollars!
There is a program out there called Mobile Monopoly and it is sweeping the nation. If you want a piece of the pie the time is now to join. So to get started here is all you do: sign up HERE. Then you need to sign up for a ClickBank account.

A critical key is to make sure you do your marketing in a way that will not be perceived by the recipient as annoying or an intrusion. The way it works, is you purchase an advertising block of a fixed amount. A $50 advertising block is typical when it comes to marketing via cell phones. Your message about the product you found at ClickBank gets sent to tens of thousands of cell phone owners. You only pay something when the user "clicks" on your advertisement. A very small amount of about 5 or so cents per click.

Here is something to consider. Most of the items on ClickBank will pay you a commission amount of between $22-$55. Let us say 1 out of every 100 phone owners who clicks on your ad buys the product. At 5 cents a click your total cost for a sale is $5. Even for a $22 product sale your STILL making a $17 profit. Even if only 1 in 200 people who click on your cell phone ad buy your still making a decent profit.

This is a FANTASTIC program, and Mobile Monopoly, teaches you exactly, step by step, with 18 videos ”How to make Money with Mobile Phones.” It is the next generation for marketers. For more information on Mobile Monopoly just CLICK HERE NOW!

Good luck, and I will see you on the next blog!

The Secrets of Email Marketing!

Email Marketing is a great and usually inexpensive way to market on line, but there are some things I want to share with you before you start.  First of all, and most importantly, you do not want to spam people. Spam is sending unsolicited email trying to sell things or ideas that the receiver of the mail does not want. Instead, I recommend opt-in emailing. That is where the email received has been approved by the person receiving the mail from you. (they have to opt-in or agreed to receive the email)

Email marketing can be profitable for any business, no matter what kind of product or service you offer. It is significantly cheaper than other advertising methods and, if done right, helps build loyalty and trust with customers. As a result, you generate more sales and more profits!

The foundation for successful email marketing is a targeted, permission-based email list.. If you've built up a list of opt-in subscribers that are qualified and interested in what you have to offer, then you've completed the first step and are on your way.

How do you create an email list you wonder?  Let’s list some different ways.
  1. ·       Buying a list though an on-line lead source.
  2. ·       Advertising on-line with an opt-in box on your advertising  or articles, etc.
  3. ·       Safelists
  4. ·       Email people back, who email you
  5. ·       Traffic Exchanges

No matter which method you use, it is imperative that you have an auto-responder in place to follow up with you list once you create them. There are lots of auto-responders out there also, but the two I use and recommend are Aweber and Get Response.  Took look at both just click on the name and it will take you the website. By the way Aweber only charges $1.00 for the first month to try it out.
Email marketing is a great way to stay connected with people on line, so get started today and watch for my next training blog.

Goal Setting for Senior Citizens!

As I thought about our Senior Citizen training and how I wanted to proceed, I realized that I had to have some goals to be able to write a blog to help you each week. Then, I thought about goal setting itself and how important it is. Therefore, my dear Senior Citizen, we are going to have bonus training and an extra blog each week on how to set goals. So let's get started.

A properly set goals program will take time. That is why so many people don't have them. In order for you to really be specific about your goals, you need to invest at least several hours of quiet meditation to think about what your goals are and all the things in your way of reaching them. Goals, set properly are demanding. That is why only 3% of us have them. This is also the reason why the rewards for people who have well set goals are so great.

The thought of investing several hours might be overwhelming and you simply don't have time right now to invest in establishing a goals program. Is it possible you don't have time because you don't have a goals program set up giving you time for other things? WOW, WHAT A CONCEPT!

Make the commitment to establishing a goals program now and you will have more time in the future to do what you need and want to do. Set aside time right now to work on this program with me and let's get organized and goal-oriented.

Now for the good news! If you take the steps we will explore in future blogs, you will create for yourself an additional two to ten hours of productive time every week!

So until the next time when we explore Setting Goals, have a great week!
